Position Title: Production Foreman
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Position Description and Purpose : Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer that partners with world-renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce a myriad of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable products. We're a scaled, diversified operation with over 2 million square feet of manufacturing and 50 production lines across 8 facilities in the U.S. and Canada. As the Foreman you:Train and coach employeesManage the production scheduleSet up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products and processing any rework that may result from equipment malfunctioningClean and sterilize equipment and factory processing areasInventory management software maintenanceRecord production data during quality checksObserving, receiving, scanning, data base entries and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
Required Qualifications:High School diploma and/or equivalent experienceExperience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plantStrong leadership and communication skillsProfessionalism and a passion for leadershipExperience with food service/manufacturing a plus
