The Opportunity:Avantor,
a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for dedicated Cleanroom Technicians to optimize our Biopharma Manufacturing Operations organization. This Devens, MA, role is full-time, on- site working:First shift (Monday- Thursday 5:30 AM- 4:00 PM) orSecond shift (Monday - Thursday 3:45 PM- 2:15 AM) orThird shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM)If you have cleanroom or related experience - let's talk!Minimum Education Requirement:High School or equivalent (GED)Required Experience (1+ year):Building, cleaning, and packaging single-use assemblies per Engineering Process Records (EPR), drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE's) and reporting all near miss and first aid events.Maintaining daily organization (6S) and cleanliness of work area and common areas.Assisting with inventory accuracy by following procedures for non-conformance reporting and returning unused parts and components to stock in sealed bags with part number and lot traceability.Meeting internal manufacturing schedules, which drive on-time delivery.Completing assemblies within the allotted time stated on the work order.Lifting 50 lbs. minimumCollaboration Tools (IE: Microsoft Office)Preferred Experience:
Following cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain ISO Class 7 environment.Improvement process and following appropriate change control procedures.Escalating potential process and/or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.Participating and working within ISO 9001:2015 quality standards guidelines in all manufacturing areas in accordance with company quality goals.Completing/sign-off of EPRs for each operation completed during the assembly.Working in a cleanroom environmentInterpreting engineering drawingsLean manufacturingFollowing site protocols, policies and proceduresProblem-solvingConduct cleanroom gowning per proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned.How you will thrive and make an impact:Avantor's Biopharma Production organization works side-by-side with Scientists around the world to enable breakthroughs in medicine, healthcare, and technology at scale.
