SUMMARY
For assigned projects, plan, and direct construction operations to ensure successful completion of contract work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement schedules and work plans for assigned projectsCommunicate with Customers and project team members to coordinate job schedule, changes and address any construction issues that ariseProvide direction to field personnel and ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedulesEnsure project documentation and quantity reporting is accurate and completeDevelop submittals, change orders, and pay requests as assignedResolve or participate in resolving construction problemsReview and evaluate daily costs, time sheets, truck and equipment usageMonitor employee compliance with safety program requirements, and document and ensure corrective measures are implementedCoordinate and cooperate with other departments (i.e., Quality Control, Equipment) to ensure that all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. are in place to support craft activities and project scheduleQualifications
Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in heavy highway and site development preferredExperience with asphalt, concrete, excavation, and underground utility construction requiredStrong quantitative and analytical skillsMust have good organization skillsAdaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office essentialLeadership and problem solving skills are essentialSelf-motivated; ability to work independentlyGood written and verbal communication skills
