Each candidate will have a primary office location.**The Project Engineer [PE] is responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. The employee in this role is the right-hand person to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent. In this critical role, the PE plans, schedules, completes and coordinates assigned engineering work, monitors work for applicable code compliance, accepted engineering practices and TCI standards; and ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all project participants.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports management of the weekly recapCreates bill of material, detailed layout, installation of equipment, and pipePerforms elevation surveys and layout and keeps field book accurateAssists with monthly and quarterly profit projectionsUpdates the cost code bid bookAssists in estimating pending change orders by sourcing and pricing materialsCompiles, enters and submits request for information (RFI)Sets up Recap and Buy out sheetsAssists with buyout (purchase orders) of Division ProjectsAssists with project schedules, that are entered into Primavera P6 and updated monthlyWilling to build proficiency in the understanding of

Other duties as assignedEssential and Required Qualifications and SkillsCollege Degree in relevant field, eg, Construction Management, Construction Management Technology, EngineeringValid Driver’s LicenseHighly proficient computer, cell and email skillsCommitted to working safelyHighly motivated, organized, and detail orientedProfessional with effective communication skillsResults-oriented with ability to influence people and manage tasks in a deadline driven environmentAbility to thoroughly understand and follow plans and specifications in the construction of projectsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for an entire work shift of 8, 10 or longer hoursAbility to stand, walk and safely navigate uneven footing on jobsites for an entire work shift of 8, 10 or longer hoursAbility to work on jobsites in all types of weather conditionsPreferred experience and qualificationsPrior us of ProCore, CAD, BlueBeamField experience in estimating, purchasing, submittal review, and cost controlExperience in concrete, excavation, underground and exposed pipingExperience in heavy civil, industrial or mechanical type projects
