This position supports the coordination and incorporation of FMS unique requirements within the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Supply Chain Management Team.Responsibilities:• Member of the ILS Management Team for Supply Chain Management supporting acquisition managers and SCM/FMS customers.• Supporting planning with the Product Support Manager for initial spares package development, as well as the sustainment of the supply chain to ensure sparing meets operational goals within the approved funding envelope of SCM/FMS Customers.• Participating in all phases of integrated logistics support and planning throughout the life cycle of the F-35 weapon system.• Participating in design reviews, configuration management board reviews, and provisioning and training plan conferences.• Supporting the development and coordination of the Supply Support Management Plans (SSMP's) with appropriate members of the US Services and SCM/FMS Customers.• Assisting in the formulation, review and justification of procurement and repair budgets.• Providing oversight to ensure timely and quality delivery of ILS element inputs and evaluate the logistics supply support capability.• Participating in various Logistics Review Group (LRG) audits in matters concerning supply support as directed.• Aiding in monitoring repair program for assigned weapon system equipment/components to promote fleet readiness and meet Command goals for SCM/FMS Customers.• Integrating SCM/FMS Customers requirements with JSF Autonomic Logistics planning and development.• Reviewing readiness statistics and other key weapon system/equipment performance indicators from all available sources to uncover trends and potential problems and monitors and coordinates actions of responsible personnel in the solution of these problems for SCM/FMS Customers.RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management or Business.Knowledge of Department of Defense projects, particularly involving foreign nations.Knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics.Knowledge and skill in the application of the ILS Management principles, concepts, and methodology to a variety of difficult and complex ILS projects.Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment.Knowledge of the system equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases.Ability to prepare and present convincing oral and written presentations to any or all levels of government and industry management to effectively prove and justify significant deviations from established sustainment policy, defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans, etc.Must be able to read, interpret, and understand federal laws and Department of Defense regulations dealing with acquisition, logistics and foreign military sales.Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for SAR.Preferred:Good briefing skills and interpersonal and/or diplomatic skills are highly desired.Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel to various government and contractor facilities.BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceACT1 Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Company Paid Life and AD&D InsuranceCompany Paid Short-Term DisabilityVoluntary Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Health Savings Account (HAS)401K with employer matchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysParental LeaveMilitary LeaveEducation, Training & Professional DevelopmentVoluntary Accidental Injury/Critical Illness/Hospital CareVoluntary Pet Insurance, Legal Resources, and Identity Protectionhttps://act1federal.com/careers/ACT1 Federal is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
