Vitalant is seeking a results-driven, customer-focused and business-minded
Account Manager / Donor Recruitment Rep
to play a vital role in our community while significantly contributing to our life-saving mission.
This Account Manager will manage an existing territory of blood drive accounts and recruit new accounts in the North Jersey area - Essex, Hudson, Morris, Union and parts of Passaic Counties.
Your impact as an Account Manager is vital.
You will achieve monthly and annual goals as you engage with coordinators at schools, community centers, and local businesses to maintain and expand existing accounts and pursue new blood drive opportunities. As a part of the Vitalant donor recruitment team, you will contribute to making a vital impact on the community. Community outreach is very important for this role!

Monday - Friday 9-5, with some flexibility as needed

Actively engage in public speaking opportunities, participating in community events with a proactive focus on acquiring and retaining volunteer blood drives.Collaborate with community coordinators to arrange and promote blood drives, ensuring alignment with company collection goals.Partner with coordinators to motivate first time donors, optimize the appointment experience, and increase donation frequency.Develop individual recruitment plans to enhance performance and achieve goals.Explore and secure new sources for blood drives, identifying opportunities for future blood drive partnerships.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of directly related sales & account management experience (preferably healthcare related) OR
Associate Degree with 2 years directly related experienceHigh school Diploma/GED with 4 years directly related experience
+ Valid in-state driver's licenseExperience managing a sales territory strongly preferredThree years of sales experience preferredExperience in bloodbanking/healthcare/non-profit preferred
