Human Resources Manager
will oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, organizational development, talent management, benefits, and payroll. This role requires collaboration with department leaders to empower team members, ensure compliance with regulations, and use data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. The HR Manager will also implement HR strategies, improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and employer branding, review and enhance policies, conduct exit interviews, and support department managers. They will leverage HR technology and lead a team to drive the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Development:
Support the development and maintenance of strong associate relations, organizational growth, talent management, benefits administration, and payroll functions. Act as a trusted advisor in all HR areas, providing exceptional services to recruit, grow, and retain top talent.Strategic Collaboration:
Work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities regarding personnel matters and build trust across the organization.Talent Management & Retention:
Maintain the recruitment strategy and continuously improve KPIs, such as retention rates, time-to-fill positions, and cost efficiency. Enhance employer branding to attract top talent.Event Planning:
Plan, organize, and execute company events, including employee benefits fairs, insurance meetings, open enrollment sessions, and more.Leadership:
Lead a team of HR professionals, mentoring, coaching, and developing team members for future succession planning. Empower employees to take ownership of their work and contribute to departmental goals.Policy and Procedure Improvement:
Review and recommend improvements to organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation regarding personnel matters. Communicate policy changes and ensure proper compliance is maintained.HR Strategy & Compliance:
Develop and implement HR strategies and practices in response to evolving business needs. Oversee HR processes, including administration, pre-employment procedures, new hire orientations, and training programs.HR Technology & Data Management:
Utilize the human resource information system (HRIS) and other technology/tools to manage teams and analyze data. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and share findings with department leaders. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons behind separations and suggest measures to reduce turnover based on trends.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.Professional certifications such as PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SCP are preferred.10+ years of experience in HR, including associate relations.7+ years of experience in a leadership role.
