Senior Accountant
will assist in all aspects of accounting, including oversight of general day to day accounting functions, technical accounting, and preparation of financial statements.

What you can expect to work on
Involved in the daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end functions of the accounting department with a focus on all balance sheet and income statement related activity for the individual brands of Solo Brands.
Activities and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Perform month-end close responsibilities (journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and analysis, etc.) including accounting for significant estimates (e.g. sales returns reserve, bad debt allowance, revenue cut-off)Provide insight into the business teams and FP&A regarding the accounting impacts of business decisionDrive process improvements that allow processes to scale with the growth of the companyLead and support business initiatives and finance projectsPerform ad-hoc reporting & analysis on sales and gross marginDrive process improvementAssist in the preparation of quarterly and year end audit requests in addition to addressing questions as neededAssist in the integration of NetSuite ERP including procure to pay, order to cash, fixed assets, and prepaid assets templates and modulesWhat we expect you to have
3+ years of related industry or Big 4 experience at a senior accountant levelCPA preferred, but not requiredUnderstanding of full-cycle accountingRevenue and Inventory Accounting experience a plusStrong System Skills in Excel and in financial systems (i.e. NetSuite, Oracle or other similar ERP systems)Team-first mentalityFlexible mindset/adaptability to changeStrong communication and analytical skillsSelf-starter and comfortable working in a fast-growing and team-first environmentWhat We Offer You:
