We are seeking an experienced
Senior Network Engineer
with a strong focus on Cisco environments to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in routing and switching protocols and hold a
CCNP or CCIE
certification in Routing & Switching (R&S).
Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and deployment of automation for network infrastructure.Design, implement, and maintain automation tools for real-time network monitoring, fault management, and automated responses.Create solutions for end-to-end application visibility and performance management using automation and toolsets.Provide expertise in routing, switching, and network management, and ensure stability and efficiency across various network systems.Analyze network data to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively.Develop and document global network architectures, including LAN/WAN/MPLS/DIA/DMZ.Collaborate cross-functionally to improve network designs and operational workflows.Required Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience
in network engineering, particularly in Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi environments.CCNP or CCIE certification
in Routing and Switching (R&S) is mandatory.Strong expertise in networking protocols and in-depth knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP models.Experience with Layer 1 & 2 protocols, Spanning-Tree, and Wi-Fi RF Spectrum.Proficiency in network design, troubleshooting, and optimization.Solid experience with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Perl, NETCONF).
