Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform routine custodial duties at a designated school or District site during an assigned shift; maintain buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition.

Requirements / Qualifications

Location: Mariposa Elementary SchoolHours: 2:00AM - 10:30PM, Monday - Friday8.0hr/day, 5 days/week, 12.0 mos./year

Sick leave and vacation are earned on a prorated basis at a rate of one day per month. A District insurance policy for hospitalization, major medical, dental, vision, and life is offered. School employees must join the State School Employees Retirement System.

California School Employees Association Agreement (CSEA), Article VI, 6.1.3 states: "Voluntary transfer/promotion requests by an employee for any opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee. Article VI, 6.3.2 states: "When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to bargaining unit employees."
