This role is a unique opportunity for a finance expert who is lThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in handling financial matters, including treasury, sales tax, financial statements, debits, and credits. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and contribute significantly to the company's financial health.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.2. Handle treasury functions, managing cash flow, loans, and investments.3. Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations, accurately calculating and filing sales tax.4. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements adhering to the company's policies and in line with financial laws and regulations.5. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements to aid in decision-making processes.6. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.7. Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaising with external auditors.8. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions where necessary.9. Collaborate with financial staff to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.10. Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or similar qualification is highly desirable.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.3. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.4. Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of finance including treasury, sales tax, financial statements, debits, and credits.5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).6.
