$62,000 - $71,000 DOE (eligible for overtime pay)

Job Summary:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Import Coordinator to oversee our client's import and export operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations related to customs and trade. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure compliance with all import and export laws and regulations.
Apply for and manage necessary certifications and licenses for import/export activities.
Conduct internal compliance audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.
Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and inform relevant departments.
Provide training to company personnel on compliance-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in import/export compliance or a similar role.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade compliance regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally SAP and/or ERP systems.
Pay Details:
$62,000.00 to $71,000.00 per year
