Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the organization. This position involves managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.•
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.•
Audit Coordination:
Lead the coordination and completion of annual audits. Liaise with external auditors and ensure all audit requirements are met.•
Policy Development:
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.•
Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.•
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives. Ensure alignment of financial goals with overall company objectives.•
Compliance and Taxation:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.•
Financial Analysis:
Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:•
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.•
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, one to two years of supervisory experience preferred•
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Infor LN strongly preferred.•
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Experience with financial analysis and budgeting.•
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead and develop a team. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.•
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.•
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
