The Administrative Manager coordinates activities between defined areas, and is a clinical resource and administrative leader. The Administrative Manager facilitate an atmosphere of interactive management and the development of collegial relationships among nursing personnel and others. The Administrative Manager serves as a link between nursing personnel and other healthcare disciplines/ team members throughout the organization and within the healthcare community. The Administrative Manager have major responsibility for the upholding of the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence based practice, and the standards of the organization, and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility.
Provides administrative decision-making and support for the coordination of patient care services 24/7. Coordinates patient flow, communication and emergency management. In conjunction with the Nurse Manager, Patient Placement Manager, and Staffing Specialist, assists with staffing patient care areas to leverage maximum labor productivity. Coordinates all emergency protocols (e.g. HICS, Code Red, Code Blue, Code Green). Participates and provides leadership to promote quality and strategic initiatives to facilitate remarkable patient care. Patient populations may include: neonates, infants, children, adults and geriatrics.
Requirement description :2+ years of recent acute care experience -
Required2+ years of progressive leadership or management experience (Charge RN, Unit Shift Coordinator, etc.) - Highly PreferredLeadership Experience -
