We're expanding our team and looking for a
Construction Operations Manager
to jump in and help us continue to scale. If you thrive in a fast-paced, intense, growth-driven environment, you'll love it here. We need someone who is passionate about the residential renovation space to join our team to help us manage our growing network of vendor-partners, consisting of general contractors, design and build firms, and architects.
Your Role:
As Construction Operations Manager, you'll work directly with our director of supply operations and vp of operations to continue to grow our high quality vendor network. This is a high-visibility role where you'll help vet vendor partners, resolve issues between homeowners and vendors, and support key strategic initiatives to continue to improve the experience for homeowners and vendors who use our platform.
You'll collaborate with a wide range of teams across the organization, from sales and operations to finance and engineering. You'll be responsible for shaping the way vendors interact with our business by building out new processes, assisting with vendor facing product launches, solving problems for homeowners and training internal teams how to work effectively with our vendor-partners.
What You'll Do:Vet Vendor Partners:
Conduct interviews with potential vendor partners to assess if they are suitable to join Realm's vendor network.Manage Vendor Relationships:
Oversee both new and existing vendors to ensure they consistently meet Realm's high standards of quality and align with our expectations.Train and Collaborate:
Work closely with Realm project advisors to onboard new vendors, ensuring they are well-trained on our partnership protocols and able to deliver an exceptional client experience.Resolve Homeowner and Vendor Issues Thoughtfully : Assist in managing escalations by resolving issues in a manner that satisfies all parties involved.Maintain Vendor Database:
Manage and Analyze Realm's backend vendor database, ensuring that all vendor profiles are complete and up-to-date with the necessary information.Support Strategic Initiatives:
Contribute to exciting new initiatives that drive real impact across the business.What You'll Need:
A background in construction:
1-3 years of experience in the construction industry, with direct involvement working with general contractors, architects, and subcontractors.A "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality
- you're not afraid to dive deep into the weeds while also thinking strategically about the big picture.Exceptional communication skills
- you are confident when communicating with a wide range of audiences, from homeowners to vendors to Realm engineers.Experience working in a start-up
or early stage company- you thrive in a fast-paced, intense environment and get excited about building something from the ground up.Able to learn new tools quickly -
you're analytical and able to learn new tools quickly.Willingness to work out of our LA or SF offices, with a preference for our LA headquarters.Nice to Have, But Not Necessary (So Don't Let It Stop You):
Experience with construction law and zoning legislationExperience with a wide range of data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, and SQL

The total compensation for this position includes a
competitive base salary ,
equity , comprehensive

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
