Scope of Services:The Contract Administrator will be responsible for administering contracts by accurately and promptly processing chargeback and rebate requests. The role involves utilizing automated contract management systems to generate payments of claims and EDI claims, effectively communicating both verbally and in writing with external and internal customers. A background of 2-3 years in contract administration within the healthcare industry is preferred. A general understanding of Business Law is essential. A BS or BA degree is required.
Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:Sales Support:
Generate and maintain contractsReview, compare, and assist with negotiation and communication of contract languageInput contract and pricing information into the system (Model N)Use Salesforce for sales support
Reporting and Analytics:
Generate reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and TableauPerform pricing calculations and analyticsProduce various reports for internal and external stakeholders
Communication:
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsEffectively communicate with external and internal customers
Contract Management:
Process chargeback and rebate requestsUtilize automated contract management systems to manage claims and EDI claimsMaintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation
Experience:2-3 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the healthcare industryExperience with Salesforce and/or Model N is highly desirableSome professional office experience, particularly in sales support or contract management, is beneficial
Education:A 4-year degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferredAn accounting or finance background, especially with month-end closing experience, is ideal
Skills:Strong Microsoft Excel skillsProficiency in Microsoft PowerPointExperience with TableauFamiliarity with Salesforce and/or Model NExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skills, ensuring a comfortable fit with the team
