About the Role:
We are seeking an analytical leader to help shape and execute Nanit's strategic initiatives. The VP of Corporate Strategy will have a broad scope of responsibilities, including the development of long term business strategy and initiatives, fundraising strategy, board management and corporate development. This highly visible role will partner closely with our C-Suite and broader leadership team to define and quantity key initiatives within business units. This candidate must have a passion for understanding, driving value and delivering growth for Nanit's business and the families we serve. This role will report directly into our CEO with a dotted line into the CFO.
What you'll be doing:Lead and facilitate in the design and iteration of corporate strategy; drive the strategic planning process, acting as a trusted advisor to Nanit's Executive Team and relevant stakeholders during strategy formulation, development, and executionCollaborate with leadership team to identify new business opportunities; conduct detailed market research, feasibility analysis, customer data analysis, and due diligence to develop and evaluate potential growth strategiesPartner with CEO and leadership team on telling the Nanit vision and strategy both internally and externally, developing compelling materials to generate buy-inDesign and maintain operational meetings and milestones for the business, including goal setting, annual planning, business reviews and moreAnalyze the efficacy of planned and existing strategies, build and maintain Nanit's ongoing long-range plan to deliver value over timeLead cross functional execution on strategic corporate projects, ensuring alignment across departments and driving operational improvements where neededAct as the point person on all corporate development initiatives, surfacing opportunities and providing support throughout the deal lifecycle.Work closely with senior management to develop Board presentationsSupport capital raising by anticipating due diligence requests, gathering and synthesizing data from brand and platform groups, and presenting data in an articulate manner that supports company narrativeWhat we are looking for:
10-15 years of strategic experience operating inside a technology, consumer, retail, or services company. Investment banking, private equity or management consulting experience a plusBachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferredMastery of strategy craft skills. Hypothesis-driven thinking, project scoping, lean testing, financial and business modeling, strategic option identification, and rigorous data analyticsProject management experience on an international scale, providing strategic leadership for multiple programs simultaneously in a cross-functional businessExperience in building trusted advisor relationships and influencing others, including C-level. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationExperience with strategic transactions including partnerships, alliances or joint venturesStrong financial acumen. Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience applying those skills to business development, operations and other projectsExcellent communication skills. Must be able to effectively and succinctly communicate in writing and orally to executive managementAn entrepreneurial, creative thinker with an action-oriented approach characterized by speed and productivityAbility to perform with high pressure and short timelines
This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC headquarters 3 days per week.
Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 base salary, equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
