Ensure the timely and accurate movement of freight and information while delivering excellent customer service in the Ocean Export Department.
Key Responsibilities of the Ocean Export PositionPerform accurate and timely data entry into the operational systemTrack and trace Ocean Export shipments, providing regular reportsEnsure compliance with internal, external, and government regulationsOptimize operational efficiency and productivity through best practicesMaintain and update customer standard operating procedures (DLSOPs)Manage overseas communications with timely responses to internal and external inquiriesEscalate issues to management when necessaryFreight Process
Receive and prepare shipment documentsRoute, process, and monitor shipmentsSecure bookings with ocean carriers or gatewaysCoordinate truckers/dray providers to meet customer requirementsHandle export customs filingsProcess files according to SOPsExecute billing and shipment status notifications, including delay/roll noticesQualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceKnowledge of the global logistics industryStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProactive with excellent organizational abilitiesProficient in MS Excel, Word, and OutlookFluent in English
