Expeditors is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.Scope of PositionAssist Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Air Export Department, while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight, while providing exceptional customer service.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace Air Export Files and reportingEnsure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customersEnsure accurate and timely client and vendors billingInteract with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved).Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations.Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivityEnsure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the SOPsMeet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s proceduresOverseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)Escalation of problems to Management when necessary.Complete mandatory training when requiredPromote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.Minimum Qualifications:2 years of industry specific qualificationGood market and product knowledgeEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active, strong organizational skillsExpeditors offers excellent benefits:Employee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Personnel Development ProgramAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
