Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operating systemTrack and trace shipments as requiredUtilize Process Monitors and Workflows on a daily basisEnsure timely movement and delivery of freight to customersEnsure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposesEnsure accurate and timely client invoicingInteract with our customers in arranging their shipments, exceeding customer service expectationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors (Ocean carriers, trucking companies, and others)Evaluate vendors at defined intervals per company policy, focusing on areas of possible improvement with corrective action plans where neededWork with sales, customer retention and development, and account management to maintain and develop relationships with current customers, and to develop and bring new customers into the departmentObtain updated rates and sailing schedules from carriers and co-loaders and send it to regular customers regularly and as neededRespond to requests for proposal, quotation or information timely and with market competitive pricing matching the scope of service required by the customerPerform Rates Analysis for service contracts rates to determine best possible cost and also service levels to the customersMeet compliance at all times to regulations, including internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies/requirementsEnsure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updatedMeet KPI standards, as per the company proceduresOversee communications, ensuring timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)Take up additional tasks and responsibilities as and when required to meet the Department’s needsMinimum Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalentAt least 1 to 2 years of related working experience in a similar positionUnderstanding of transportation documentation and terms is a plusGood knowledge of computer and MS Office applicationsGood command of written and spoken EnglishEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active with strong organizational skillsStrong desire to learnExpeditors offers excellent benefits:Employee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Personnel Development ProgramAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
