PART TIME NEXT GENERATION MINISTRIES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The West End Next Gen Ministries Administrative Assistant is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Next Gen Minister for providing administrative support and assistance in all areas of weekly programs, special events, outreach events or projects, and other church-sponsored community events that are a part of Next Gen Ministry areas which include Preschool, Children, Student, and Embrace Ministries.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
may include but are not limited to the following:
Assists in the implementation of weekly ministry programs by providing administrative support to Next Gen Minister. This includes scheduling and updating of room reservations, preparation of curriculum, the purchase and organization of supplies, and communication with leaders, students, and parents.Administer daily/weekly details of the Next Gen ministries including administrative support to lay leaders as neededProvide administrative support for special events related to Next Gen ministriesTrack Sunday and Wednesday attendance and enter rolls into Ministry Platform for all Next Gen ministry areasAnswer and return phone calls regarding general Next Gen ministry informationAssist in following up with visitors in Next Gen ministries each weekAssist in monitoring Next Gen ministries budgets by collecting payments for events and making deposits into Next Gen ministry accountsAdministrative support for sub-ministriesCommunication with families through mail-outs, emails, phone calls, etcLogistics for special events including, but not limited to, transportation, lodging, meals, student event registrations, etcWork with Communications Team to request bulletin announcements, inserts, web articles and banners and other promotional needsCredit card reconciliation for Next Gen ministerAs needed, work with Communications, Facilities, and Tech in securing all applicable resourcesWork with Next Gen Minister to make sure that all new or incoming volunteers have completed the vetting processes, have passed their background checks, and have completed Ministry Safe trainingOVERALL NEXT GEN SUPPORT:
Assist in scheduling and preparation for monthly Next Gen staff meetingsAdministrative support for sub-ministries (e.g. Preschool, Children, Students)Provide administrative support for special events related to Next Gen and family ministry (e.g. outside event partnerships)Logistics for special events including registrations, bookings, and payment of speakersOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
may include but are not limited to the following:
Participation in staff meetings as required by the departmentComplete applicable weekly/quarterly/annual reports required by the departmentAssist with Ministers in Residence onboarding/needs as requestedComplete other duties as assigned by supervisorCOMPETENCIES AND TRAITS :

Preferred Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, minimum of two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
