Job Title: Bodyshop ManagerPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Bodyshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our auto body repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and fostering a positive work environment. As the Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the efficiency of repair processes, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and meeting financial goals.Key Responsibilities:- Management: Lead, train, and supervise bodyshop staff including technicians, estimators, and support personnel. Create a motivated and productive team environment.- Operations: Oversee all aspects of bodyshop operations to ensure effective workflow and high-quality repairs. Monitor repair processes and schedules to ensure timely completion of all jobs.- Customer Service: Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes, estimates, and timelines. Resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.- Financial Oversight: Manage the bodyshop budget, including labor costs, materials, and equipment. Set and monitor sales goals and work to achieve profitability targets.- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure repairs meet industry standards and safety guidelines. Conduct regular inspections of completed work.- Inventory Management: Ensure adequate inventory levels of parts and supplies. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain quality standards.- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the bodyshop complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety within the shop.- Performance Metrics: Track performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
