What you will be doing
Albertson's Companies is re-imagining the grocery experience through a digital and customer experience transformation. The Loyalty Department has an opening for a Senior Director, Loyalty Product Management. This role is responsible for defining and executing on all aspects of product management including strategy, discovery, planning, delivery, and measurement of drive digital solutions to achieve the business KPIs. The Senior Director will lead the Loyalty Pillar's product management organization supporting the product vision for supported services including Banner for U (e.g. Safeway for U), Rewards, Digital Weekly Ad, FreshPass, Division Games, and partner integrations. They will be responsible for collecting and interpreting user research and data, conceiving innovative products, creating a robust product roadmap, and managing the loyalty product lifecycle. The successful candidate will be a strategic and ambitious visionary with the proven ability to deliver products that create impact and deliver exceptional value to our current members and prospects. This leader is highly motivated to succeed and empower his/her team, dependent teams, and vendor partners to engender trust and confidence at all levels across the organization.
This position is located in Pleasanton, California.
Main responsibilities
Lead product managers and the organization at large to inspire innovation, demonstrate thought leadership and enable precision loyalty product execution across all channels and experiences including the app, web, and in-store.Develop an innovative and customer-obsessed loyalty product team by recruiting top talent and designing the team's organizational structure to foster a strong product culture.Ensure the vision, strategy and product roadmap are aligned and well-articulated with the loyalty pillar leadership team, product team as well as amongst key cross-pillar stakeholders.Drive agile product management strategies to provide superior member experience that results in increases member enrollment, engagement, lifetime value, and NPS.Build deep, collaborative relationships with marketing, shopping experience, engineering, retail ops, corporate and division marketing & operations teams to build, deploy and test new loyalty products, offerings and pilots.Be responsible for delivering experiences/customer-facing products that drive conversion of shoppers to members and increase engagement from customer members, while creating efficiencies for internal teamsEstablish a culture of testing and learning within your team in continuously developing hypotheses, never taking the status quo as the way things need to be done.Work with Technology, Engineering, UX and partners to establish agile processes, frameworks, and tools to improve velocity, quality, and ensure transparency across the various stakeholders and dependent teams.Clearly articulate and communicate the vision, roadmap, key decisions, and relevant learnings up and out to all levels and departments of the company, offering company-wide insight into what is being worked onBe a part of the team redefining what loyalty means in the grocery industry!
The salary range is $177,000 - $235,000. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, engineering, business, or related. MBA preferred.8 -12 years' experience in product management, management consulting or technology4+ years' experience managing direct reports in high-tech companyExperience building and launching complex platforms at scale and providing product direction to meet customer needs.Highly analytical skills with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their quantitative implications.Embody the Agile philosophy, always iterating and improving on the process and not just adhering to the ceremony.Experience working in hybrid environments balancing onsite and remote management and employee engagement.Ability to think about the big picture but not afraid to also roll up sleeves to solve what's right in front of themInternet and retail experience strongly preferred.Usability and customer-focused design experience a plusPassionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems.
