We're looking for a Data Scientist to join the Worldpay Technology Data team to help enable AI & ML products across the organization and help us unleash the potential of every business.

We are in search of a Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in developing AI & ML solutions to join our growing team within Technology that's enables the entire organization. Partnering with our business colleagues you will use advanced analytics and machine learning to identify opportunities across our merchant base, internal technology and product teams, to build impactful solutions deployed on our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical data skills, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive growth.
What you'll own:Collaborate with business partners to understand and document requirements with specific use casesData analysis through collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets from various sources across the businessIdentify and evaluate new data sources (internal and external) to support and drive improvements in predictive modelsUtilize advanced data analytics, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and develop machine learning algorithms to provide business value from data productsImplement and deploy models and ML algorithms into a production environment with all the necessary controls in placeCreate data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholdersStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learningEnsure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle, developing reusable patternsWhat you bring:
Strong knowledge in data science theory, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, data visualization, and data analysisExperience with data preparation, cleansing, feature engineering and modellingExcellent programming skills, preferably in PythonSolid understanding of databases architecture and SQL languageExperience in delivering xwithin cloud based data platformsExperience with AWS, Snowflake and Databrick plus other cloud-based environment and toolsExperience working in Agile cross-functional teams in a project-based environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organizationExcellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skillsAware of DevOps and MLOps best practices, and hands-on experience with automation, Github, Docker, CI/CD.Added bonus if you have:

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $89,180.00 - $149,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
