We are seeking a Project Controls Manager to join our renewables energy team! This role requires the candidate to be at the project construction site 3 weeks a month on a rotational schedule.

How will you contribute to the team?
The Project Controls and Reporting Lead reports directly to the Project Integration Lead and works closely with the Project Services Lead.
The Project Controls and Reporting Lead will initially determine all reporting requirements for the project and work with the Project Integration and Project Services Lead to develop and implement the processes and systems infrastructure required to support all reporting requirements. The Project Controls /Reporting Lead will then be responsible for the assembly and issue of all reports for the project to all StakeholdersDetermine all reporting requirements for the project and work with the Project Integration and Project Services Lead to develop and implement the processes and systems infrastructure required to support all reporting requirements.Responsible for the assembly and issue of all reports for the project to the project management team for forwarding to Stakeholders as required.Establish reports and dashboards to meet all reporting requirements.Establish the guidelines for reporting and communication to align, including data structures and report templates to obtain required information from EPC Contractors.Establish the processes for cost management, change management and earned value management, including the guidelines for rules of credit for the EPC contractor to report earned value.Performs data analysis by engineering discipline, identifies problems, and makes recommendations to correct negative trends.Monitors schedule deviation for assigned disciplines or specialties and recommends corrective action / workaround solutions for project considerations.Participates in engineering review meetings to remain appraised on achievement to major milestones.Responsible for reviewing reports from contractors, such as the Project Procurement Status Report and the Earned Revenue Determination Data.Review EPC Contractor monthly update reports to ensure data accuracy and narrative specific to KPIs in safety, quality, cost, and schedule.Provide forecast analysis to identify negative trends requiring corrective actions and reinforcing / highlighting positive trends.Perform project status update meeting to the client steering committee and project team members to keep all project personnel aware of the overall status.Establish, develop, and produce the project status reports for all StakeholdersWhat will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus ten years relevant experience.Must have strong cost management, scheduling, and project planning and estimating skills, as well as the communication skills necessary to interface with external engineering, architectural and construction firms, suppliers, the management team and other organizations within client organizations.Must be able to use A/E and CM cost and/or schedule information to evaluate project status.Must have experience in developing budgets, cash flows, and/or schedules.Experience in the renewables sectorMust be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities.Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.Working knowledge of industry standard software, including but not limited to SAP, Skire, VersaPro, etc. and ERP, Planning & Scheduling, and cost management applications. Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is preferred.Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.AACE membership/certification or RICS qualified is preferredWhat we offer at AtkinsRéalis:
