Our full time Site Directors oversee our afterschool program at one of many elementary schools throughout
Leander ISD.
What a typical day looks like?
Much of the day will be spent guiding staff and impacting the lives of children from Preschool to 5th gradeCreativity is a plus as you will design exciting program curriculum and maintain supplies for these kid friendly activitiesOur Site Directors not only provide a safe environment, but they experience all the fun by leading games, songs, sports and special eventsTeam work starts within our department meetings which are held every Monday around noonAt pick up time, you will enjoy connecting with parents about the program activities and the kiddo's dayOur Site Directors take pride in safety so record keeping must be timely and accurateOverall you will find enjoyment in managing and developing a team of 2-4 counselors to achieve a quality afterschool programQualifications you need to be considered:
Required 6 months of Licensed childcare experience or experience in a public/private accredited schoolAt least 30 clock hours of training in child/youth development received in the last two months, with documentation, or willingness to earn it through the YMCA within the first week of hiring.Must be 21 years of age with High School diplomaHave experience supervising and motivating a teamMust be able to pass a drug test and background checksPerks of the position include:

Pay Rate:
$17.00 to $22.00/hour
