Description
Coastal Mechanical, one of the largest commercial, industrial and institutional mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking a highly organized and skilled bilingual Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial project coordination and an understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and success of both yourself and our company in the Tampa Florida area.
Requirements
• Provide support to the Project team including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents
• Prepare and enter monthly project billings
• Track and enter monthly subcontractor billing
• Prepare, enter and track Owner Direct Purchases (ODP's)
• Organize and maintain electronic filing system for all projects
• Set-Up New Construction Projects and enter budgets per company guidelines
• Procure Mechanical, Plumbing & Gas Permits, scheduling inspections and closing out permits
• Assist with reporting of Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP/CCIP)
• Generate Subcontracts and Subcontractor Change Orders, including distribution and tracking
• Assist in closing out Purchase Orders
• Assist in tracking/sorting all subcontractor/vendor monthly project billings
• Sort and save all delivery tickets for all projects
• Assist in obtaining proofs of delivery for ODP tracking
• Assist the Project Managers in updating the Construction Activity Check List
• Assist the Project Managers in tracking all RFI's and Submittals
• Assist the Project Managers in tracking all equipment rentals, scheduling delivery and pick-up
• Track and Verify Daily Reports are completed on all projects on a weekly basis
• Track and Verify Safety Reports are completed on all projects on a weekly basis
• Oversee/Assemble Project Closeout Requirements and warranties
• Order and receive necessary office supplies and day-to-day supplies
• Receive deliveries, track and save all delivery tickets in electronic filing system
• Mail collection and UPS/Fedex Shipments
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Utilization of Computer Applications including:
o View Point
o Blue Beam
o Word
o Excel
o Outlook
Essential Functions:
• Ability to Read, Speak, comprehend, and write in English and Spanish
• Bending, Stooping, lifting up to 20lbs
• Able to ambulate through the building to interact with other departments
• Dexterity for office equipment and computers
