Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Family Law Paralegal

to join our client's legal team in Miami. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and extensive knowledge of family law procedures. This role involves working closely with attorneys and clients, assisting in case preparation, and managing key aspects of family law cases.Key Responsibilities:

Case Management:

Manage family law cases, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and adoption matters, from inception to resolution.Document Preparation:

Draft, review, and file legal documents, such as petitions, motions, subpoenas, agreements, and court orders.Court Filings:

Ensure all documents are filed accurately and on time with state and local courts.Client Communication:

Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information to support case development.Legal Research:

Conduct research on case law, statutes, and court rules relevant to family law matters.Discovery Management:

Assist with discovery processes, including preparing and organizing documents, requests, and interrogatories.Scheduling:

Coordinate court dates, attorney-client meetings, and other key appointments.Trial Preparation:

Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists, and assist attorneys in organizing evidence and strategy for hearings and trials.Qualifications:Education:

Paralegal certification or degree in legal studies.Experience:

3+ years of experience in family law, with a solid understanding of state family court procedures.Skills:

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and MS Office.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing high-conflict family law cases.Knowledge of financial documentation related to divorce and child support.
