Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal for our client in Austin! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:Salary: $70,000-$85,000Hybrid scheduleDirect Hire OpportunityBenefits:

Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of legal documents, including petitions, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests related to family law cases such as divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption.Conduct legal research on family law matters and provide relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents to attorneys.Manage and organize case files, maintain case calendars, and track important deadlines.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other relevant parties to gather information, schedule meetings, and follow up on case developments.Draft and prepare legal correspondence, settlement agreements, and other legal documents for attorney review.Assist with discovery by preparing subpoenas, organizing exhibits, and compiling financial documentation.Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed to assist attorneys in real-time case management.Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field (or Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program).Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on family law.Strong knowledge of family law practices and procedures, including familiarity with court filings and local rules.Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.Knowledge of e-filing systems and procedures is a plus.
