The Role
This is a full-time role located at our Roxbury site requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The Therapeutic Mentor provides structured, one-on-one, strength-based support services to youth in collaboration with a HUB (behavioral health provider) to implement treatment and care plans addressing mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs. The responsibilities include engaging youth in therapeutic interventions through social, recreational, educational, and daily living skills, as well as maintaining contact with caregivers and other collaterals to document progress towards identified goals. The mentor advocates for and accesses resources to support the youth's emotional and mental health needs participates in all care plan meetings and ensures the timely completion of necessary paperwork and data entry assignments.
What You'll Bring to the Team
We're looking for someone who's not just qualified but driven. Someone who's excited about making a difference in the lives of children and their families.An associate or bachelor's degree in a human service field is preferred.One year of experience working with children, adolescents, or transitional-age youth.Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license without restrictions and reliable transportation.You'll Stand Out If:
