Amazing Benefits Company Culture - Family Owned Business $$$$Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced Multifamily Estimator to join our team and lead our negotiated work estimating efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and a proven track record of success in negotiated work estimating.Responsibilities: Develop detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, focusing on negotiated work Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope and requirements Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project details and negotiate costs Prepare and present comprehensive cost proposals for negotiated work projects Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material, labor, and equipment costs Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimating to project execution Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and construction methodsQualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in MULTIFAMILY construction estimating, with a focus on negotiated work Proven track record of successful cost estimating for large-scale commercial projects In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractors Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Timberline, WinEst, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredInterested in hearing more?
