Job Description:

The HR Specialist will provide administrative, employee, and recruiting support for the organization.

Primary Duties:Expected to follow all safety rules and policies and work in a manner that protects themselves and other stakeholders from hazards and injuriesMaintain the HRMS database.Work with hiring managers to write effective job descriptions.Recommend sourcing strategies to comply with affirmative action guidelines and achieve a diverse and qualified talent pool.Generate applicant pools by initiating requisitions to post new and vacant positions and prepare associated advertisements.Develop new and enhanced strategies to attract and engage applicants.Assure compliance with all federal and state regulations throughout the recruitment/hiring process.Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.Screen resumes and conduct phone screens to make recommendations to hiring managers.Serve as an administrator for all assigned job searches and coordinate the candidate interview.Coordinates and attends career fairs to build employer brand and attract qualified candidates.Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, training, performance evaluations.Assists with the implementation of a performance management system that includes performance development plans and employee career development programs.Record data for each employee report on performance, and ensure timely distribution of performance review materials for supervisors to complete.Assist with the internal training program, and coordinate training for all employeesManage and maintain effective employee communications.Support in the planning and coordination any company sponsored events, social functions, and facility tours.Provide administrative and clerical support for departments.Any other duties as assigned.Education/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year clerical and Human Resources experience. A degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.Minimum of 1 years of human resources experience with recruitment responsibilityMinimum of 1 years of experience with applicant tracking systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn new programs and applicationsExperience and ability with providing excellent and timely customer serviceAbility to work autonomously, as well as, in a team environmentProven success in building relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team membersExhibits high level of organization and attention to detailPrevious high volume recruiting experienceSkill Requirements:

General understanding of PCs and related software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsMust be able to communicate in English for all business/job related transactionsWork Environment:
