Purpose & Primary Duties:
Responsible for development and implementation of goals and objectives of the sales department consistent with the corporate goals and objectives, which include:Manage the day-to-day business including (but not limited to) pipeline development, forecasting, sales cycle management, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing.Lead the department in the achievement of PMX annual sales goals.Build strong relationships with our internal sales team and supervise, assist, guide, and mentor when needed.Effectively negotiate at a high level, building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.Develop sales goals and strategies for the overall business.Demonstrate consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion.Coordinate with other organizations and departments as needed to achieve organizational objectives.Complete special projects as assigned.Develop and ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.Ensure compliance with related regulations and maintain relevant files and records.Ensure that all daily, monthly, and annual reports and forecasts are completed.Provide and maintain a safe work environment.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years' experience in the specialty alloys, technical sale of metals, or related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in the specialty alloys, technical sale of metals or related industry.Excellent communication skills, including written, oral and effective listening to communicate with all levels of the organization.Previous supervisory experience required.Demonstrated leadership experience required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).Salary/Title:
