Business Analyst
to join our growing team! This is a hybrid position that will be performed on-site in Washington, DC.
This position requires US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our DOJ team as we continue providing support to modification projects upgrading, working sites and enhancing our capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesDefines and documents business processes using standard methodologies and tools.bility to understand the IT application and the business needs of the clients.bility to translate the client's business needs to specific application, operational, and non-functional requirements.bility to document and analyze the required information and data.bility to work with the technical team and the end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.Possesses strong analytical skills.bility to analyze user procedures.Defines system objectives and features.Elicits, analyzes, verifies and specifies system requirements and business rules.ssists in identifying testing requirements and performing application testing.Works closely with technical staff to develop and implement the system.Conducts gap analysis.Required Minimum Qualifications
bachelor's degree in operations research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline.Experience in the effective use of data provided by cost estimators to create overall cost versus benefit assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns.Minimum 5 years' experiencective TS clearanceCSM CertificationMicrosoft Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau dashboard development experienceExperience with SQL-based RDBMSExperience with ETL, data prep, data quality, data cleansing, data normalization techniquesClient-facing communication skillsbility to develop efficient data models for use in BI applicationsbility to meet moderate level background check or higherU.S. Citizenship required

Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
