Buyer/Planner
for our North Carolina facility. The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements and company inventory objectives. This role involves direct interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage the entire lifecycle of purchasing and raw material planning.

Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain management, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience required.3-5 years of experience in a buyer/planner role, preferably within the automotive industryExperience with SAP or similar ERP systemsAPICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of supply chain principles and inventory management practicesFamiliarity with ISO/TS 16949 standards and lean manufacturing principles is preferredEssential Functions
Serve as the primary contact for customers, receiving orders via EDI, email, phone, etcEnsure accurate representation of customer requirements in ERP (SAP) systemManage and resolve customer issues efficiently, maintaining high satisfaction levelsIdentify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensure reliable supplyIssue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materialsCoordinate with customs brokers and logistics providers for shipments as requiredSet safety stock levels for raw materials and finished goods to mitigate supply risksPerform material requirements planning (MRP) to align supply with demandAnalyze and optimize inventory levels to support production and customer requirementsIdentify and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risksCoordinate logistics activities to ensure efficient material flowEnsure compliance with all relevant customs and import regulationsPhysical Requirements
Primarily office-based with substantial computer workMay require occasional lifting of up to 25 lbsSitting, standing, and bending requirementsSome travel may be required for supplier visits and negotiationsSubstantial volume of customer contact by telephoneWho is Oiles America Corporation?
