We are seeking a Buyer/Planner who will work onsite full time in our Wooddale, IL offices.
BUYER/PLANNER ROLE
The Buyer/Planner is responsible for developing production and supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity. They will be responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in our ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. They may also be responsible for providing materials to manufacturing areas based on planned production schedules and for the appropriate shipping of finished goods to various distribution centers. This is done by utilizing material handling equipment in support of management policies for customer delivery and inventory levels which includes planners and inventory control roles.
The Buyer/Planner role will manage various Supply chain activities in support of order fulfillment, inventory planning, supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will drive the decision-making process to balance lowest possible inventory level while delivering market competitive delivery times to customers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory planning & forecasting including stock/inventory plan creation & replenishment. This includes evaluating Inventory value vs Stock plan/forecast value by sales division.
Complete demand analysis and supply planning; Kanban sizing; maintenance of Kanban and safety stock data in SAP; review of material requirements
Procurement - Purchase 3rd party materials; maintain supplier information and purchasing info records; create suppliers in SAP
Reporting & analysis - Inventory, Excess & Obsolete, stock plan, monthly forecasts, Forecast vs Actual
YOUR PROFILE
3+ years experience in procurement and Supply/Demand inventory planning and forecasting; a Bachelors degree preferred
ERP experience, ideally SAP knowledge
Strong MS Office skills, highly proficient Excel skills
Experience with inventory reporting and analysis

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - 70,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
