to join our team in
Las Vegas, Nevada!
WORK SCHEDULE: Production runs Monday-Friday days
PAY RANGE: $100K+ DOE, + bonus

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hospitality laundry facility. Like in a manufacturing environment, a Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all aspects of production while driving continuous improvement and optimization processes. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record running a plant, a good understanding of lean principles, and is fully committed to fostering a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:Leadership:
Provide leadership and direction to a team of supervisors and maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality and continuous improvementOperations Management:
Oversee daily operations of the plant, including production planning, labor forecasting, staffing, quality assurance, and maintenanceSafety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations; implement and maintain a safe working environment for all employeesProcess Improvement:
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies and ability to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivityBudget and Cost Control:
Manage plant budgets and expenditures effectively; control costs and look for opportunities to reduce expenses without sacrificing quality or safetyInventory and Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate supply of materials and manage inventory levelsReporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on plant performance, including key metrics, production goals, and any issues or challengesEmployee Development:
Develop and mentor staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills and capabilitiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing,or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with proven success in plant managementStrong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teamsSolid understanding of safety, quality, and environmental regulationsExperience managing budgets and controlling costs effectivelyAbility to analyze complex problems and develop actionable solutionsUnderstanding of safety regulations and compliance requirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Military leadership experienceMBALean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certificationPMP - Project Management ProfessionalFamiliar with Environmental Management Such as ISO 14001/ISO 9001GMPProficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Word and AdobeExperience with ERP systems and other manufacturing software toolsCompany Values & Benefits
