Patent Agent
with at least
2 years of experience
in
computer science or electrical engineering.
The position allows for flexible location and involves a dynamic role focused on emerging technologies.
Candidate Profile:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.2+ years of experience
in patent preparation and prosecution.Experience in
data science ,
machine learning ,
artificial intelligence ,
wireless communications ,
sensors, semiconductors ,
Internet of Things , or related fields is advantageous.Strong technical and writing skills.Exceptional attention to technical detail and effective organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.Key Responsibilities:
Work with inventors and attorneys to prepare and prosecute patent applications in emerging technology areas.Identify inventions through technical discussions with inventors.Perform novelty and clearance searches to delineate inventions from existing technologies.Draft comprehensive patent applications and negotiate the scope of patent rights with the Patent Office.Prepare reports and support documentation for patent portfolio management.Why Join?
