About the Job:
The Staff Accountant is an entry level accounting position responsible for the accounting and financial functions of assigned substance use disorder facilities. Duties include oversight of daily accounting activity, balance sheet reconciliations and other workpaper presentations. This position may also provide the opportunity to participate in various special projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Primary resource for BOMs Prepare and analyze general ledger accounting entries necessary to generate financial statements Revenue Payroll and benefits Prepaids Accruals Statistics Others as assigned
Monthly analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts Bank reconciliation(s) Accounts receivable reconciliation(s) Balance sheet reconciliation(s) Others as assigned
Investigate and correct variances identified through the reconciliation process Income statement trend analysis and financial review notes preparation Assist with coordinating and/or preparation of budgets Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment Other duties as assigned Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting Proficiency in Excel Healthcare and multi-entity exposure is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains is a plus Excellent analytical and communication skills
Licenses/Designations/Certifications:
