Senior Plant Human Resources Manager

We are currently assisting our client, a large manufacturing operation, with a Plant Senior Human Resources Manager search in the Southeast.
The successful candidate will be the strategic and operational human resources leader for a large manufacturing facility (800 or more) and be pivotal in strategy and functions of the site. This is a highly visible, high impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization. The large manufacturing operation is a non-union operation, and this plant creates best practices for the division and their operation.
Responsibilities:
Functions as a member of the senior management team setting strategic direction for the success and growth of all businesses.Ability to coach and implement leadership development programs in a manufacturing organization.Ability to develop and lead a world class HR Team that can function both as a true business partner and an employee advocate.Develop and implement policies to create a culture of safety and risk assessment, making it part of the plant culture, supporting strong rapport with hourly and management professionals.Safety Management to ensure adherence to ISO 45001 Standards, plant is certified.Promote a strong non union environment through respect and fairness.Manages and mentors a team of 5, including, Generalists, Recruiting, Environmental, Health & Safety Associates and the Nurse staff.Collaborates with business partners to implement strategic initiatives resulting in continuous improvement, enhanced employee engagement, improved working relationships, and positive business results.Participates in the development and implementation of financial budgets.Implements an efficient and integrated strategy for staffing, recruiting, induction, training, career management, etc. at site level.Guarantees working conditions in compliance with Group Health, Safety & Environment policies.Manages industrial relations with local employee representatives.Creates best practices for plant and division.Quality Systems Audits and SurveysResponsible for a 3 shift 7-day operation.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; a major in business, human resources, Psychology or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years related human resources generalist Strategic Leadership experience, including a solid employee-relations background.Greenfield plant start up or turnaround experience desirable.Plant HR Management Experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Plant Desired within a plant of 800 or more.Demonstrated Successmanaging and mentoring a team with direct reports including Generalists, Environmental\Health and Safety, HR Leader, Benefits, Recruiting and Plant NurseExperience in Aerospace, Appliance Manufacturing, Agricultural equipment Machinery Manufacturing, Automotive industry or heavy industrial manufacturing required.Experience Creating, Implementing and Maintaining Best Practices for Plant and Division.Stable and upward mobile career path.
