What will your job look like?

The

Manager, Facility Maintenance

is responsible for providing oversight and direction to the facilities maintenance team as well as maintaining the facility and surround grounds, ensuring a safety first mindset. This oversight includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspection and repairs, overseeing the custodial duties of the facilities and grounds, and minor maintenance actions. This role will also provide support with documenting and tracking facility maintenance requirements.

What you'll do:

Manage, coach and develop individuals within the facility maintenance teamEnsure and maintain ground maintenance, year-roundEnsure facilities are properly maintained as requiredEnsure a safety first cultureManage and assign team workflows (to include work orders, documentation, etc) and assignmentsEstablish key metrics for teamMonitor work performed by technicians and contractorsOversee permitting, SWPPP (Storm Water Plan), monitoring, scheduling and coordination of required actionsDocument all the complaints, causes, and corrective actions in the Cap Metro HEXAGON EAM computerized maintenance management systemEnsure data accuracy when utilizing the maintenance management systemIdentify part needs and ensure information is communication to appropriate department for orderingMaintain tools and machinery, ensuring safety is the number one priorityCommunication with building maintenance technicians or designee on assignments, activities and follow up actionsParticipate in any ongoing training and required annual OSHA/safety trainingLoad and unload trucks and deliveries, as neededCoordinate furniture moves, office set up, and equipment/office furniture assembly, as neededAssist contractors with direction and labor assistance as requiredOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.5+ years' experience in a related position within general HVAC, operational systems, electrical, hydraulic systems, generators, and general facility repairMust maintain a valid state-issued driver's licenseSkills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and state, federal and OSHA regulationsKnowledge of fueling stationsAbility to work flexible hours as requiredAbility to follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations per the MTM Transit Code of Conduct and accepted by the CBASubject to Random Drug and Alcohol Testing as requiredProvide own tools to include some diagnostic and specialty toolsAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityRegular attendance is requiredKnowledge of transit safety regulationsMust have knowledge of minor carpentry repair and assembly functions in the repair, and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, scaffolding forms, wood fixtures, and furnitureMust have knowledge of minor plumbing activities associated with clogged drains and minor leaking faucet type linesMust have knowledge of minor electrical repairs such as: replacing light switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs and breakersMust have knowledge of preventative maintenance inspection and minor maintenance of specific systems as outlined on PM forms for said equipmentEven better if you have...

Salary Min: $72,000/ annually

Salary Max: $90,000/ annually
