Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the United States Army Futures Command. The position requires skills in big data storage and processing, building data pipelines, and overseeing extract, transform, and load (ETL).
Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience.
Job Duties:Analyze a variety of data sources to provide data-driven insights to the organizations to streamline processes.Extract, cleanse, and integrate data from various ERP and legacy systems for analysis.Utilize various data analytics tools to support financial management decision analytics.Apply professional knowledge of computer science, mathematical, statistical theories, techniques, and methods to enable the continued transformation of the Army Futures Command into a data-centric organization.Analyze the performance of the ERP systems, identifying inefficiencies or areas where systems' usage can be optimized.Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to help the commander, resource manager, budget analysts, and sustainment personnel make informed business decisions.Prepare reports and create/deliver presentations to the command, resource manager, senior leaders, and other external groups.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen and have a SECRET clearance.Bachelor's Degree (or higher degree) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data science.Must have knowledge of GFEBS and ADVANA
