Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the United States Army Futures Command. The position Swill be responsible for the design, development, testing, and production of automations using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software. The developer will support a Federal client on site with flexible remote opportunities. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience.
Job Duties:Participate in project meetings with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand data specific needs.Analyze legacy data systems, entity relationships and system interfaces to detect data patterns, anomalies, and trends to develop business requirementsGather requirements and conduct process mappingDevelop and generate data queries for data extractions and or transformations.Generate data views and reports to support end users visualize resultsWork with cross functional technical teams, business analysts and key stakeholders to determine viable process candidates for automation, the mapping and modeling of process automation and maintaining the environment to ensure it remains highly available for business-critical processes.Develop and maintain automation development schedule; brief the project manager on a regular basis to track completion of automation milestones.Enforce Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) usage and best practice adoption and usage throughout the development process, including proper execution of exception handling, metric reporting, use of global variables, and other 'wrapper' techniques.Lead and participate in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of all automations.Complete and review documentation for library and production automations; create, manage, and maintain file folders. Upload final versions of documents into the management tool.Write test reports and conduct testing when necessary.Manage and run automations in production, as required. Run the robot manager software and manage the server environment.Provide metrics on testing and production activities as necessary.Leverage presentation expertise to present complex information to non-technical audiences and update senior leadership in the commandMinimum Qualifications
Must be a US citizen able to obtain a Secret-level clearance. Candidates with a current Secret clearance are highly desired.Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Information Technology preferred) plus 3 years of experience in data analyticsProgramming experience with applications such as .NET, C#, HTML/CSS, Javascript, ETL, Visual Studio, and SQL databases. Expert in Microsoft Excel (VBA, macros).
