Job Summary

The Director, Enterprise Compliance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's compliance program. This role ensures that the company adheres to legal standards and internal policies while fostering a culture of compliance across all departments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to communicate compliance strategies effectively to various stakeholders.

What You'll DoDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in alignment with current laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Chair the Compliance Committee, bringing together compliance professionals, including the Chief Compliance Officers (CCOs) from regulated entities.Serve as the company's Privacy Officer, ensuring adherence to HIPAA requirements.Assist the Chief Administration, Risk, and Compliance Officer in overseeing compliance programs for regulated entities and Benefit Plan programs.Establish and manage a robust compliance monitoring and testing program, reviewing procedures regularly to identify risks and ensure effective controls.Identify and assess compliance risks associated with business activities, collaborating with the Enterprise Risk Director to prioritize risk mitigation.Oversee client onboarding processes to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of compliance requirements for employees and affiliated advisors.Foster a culture of compliance through ongoing education and support across the enterprise.Collaborate with senior management and functional areas to integrate compliance into business processes.Evaluate the compliance policies and procedures of service providers, maintaining a regular review process to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.Lead investigations into compliance violations and conflicts of interest, implementing corrective actions to prevent future compliance issues.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure continuous organizational compliance.Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and the board of trustees, outlining key findings and strategic recommendations.Partner with the Enterprise Risk Director and Director of Enterprise Administration to deploy shared Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analysts across the enterprise on a project-by-project basis.Develop strong relationships with senior leadership and functional leaders, understanding and addressing their unique compliance needs.What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.Knowledge of compliance regulations, including HIPAA, HR compliance, SEC/FINRAExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs and policies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)) is a plus.
