JOB SUMMARY FROM MANAGER:
*This role will look at the budgets for facility clinic centers.*This role will be reviewing contracts for Clinics and Centers and reviewing agreements between the centers, hospital partners that are signed with the center, understands agreement terms and language/components of center agreements.*There are 2 different types of agreements for each center. The purpose is to review fees that that this facility has to pay out versus the hospital partner and deciding on who is responsible for the fee based on the contract in place for the center.*This role will go back and look at past expenses and previous charges for the center and bill out anything that the facility should not have been billed.*needs experiences speaking to division controllers.*Must have experience speaking with partners.*Will get refunds or credits on next months sub agreements.*Someone needs to have strong conversations with partners*
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, plus a Bachelors is preferred.
Must be comfortable with this being a short term, 8 week assignment.
Facility job description (general), but a summary of the role is *noted above.
Must have Excel experience. Candidates are preferred to have adaptive and Great Plains experience but not required.
High level exposure to center directors, market directors, ops managers, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:This individual will play a key role in the monthly close and reporting process within the corporate function of the accounting department. The senior accountant's responsibilities include an emphasis on monitoring the revenue accounting function while assisting with month-end close processes.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of full cycle accounting, detail-oriented, analytical, and has great interpersonal and communication skills to interface with management and other departments within the organization.
RESULTS MEASURED BY THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform the monthly financial closing processes including journal entry preparation• Maintain and administer accounts receivable records and files among several third-party billing entities• Perform & maintain month-end reconciliations• Perform multi-location financial analysis against budget/forecast & full cycle accounting• Collaborate with Revenue Analytics Manager to review rate trends, make recommendations on AR valuation, track cash collections, and monitor against accrual rates• Prepare PBCs and support the financial statement audit• Maintain AR aging and metrics reports, including reserve rates and days sales outstanding• Ability to investigate and resolve any irregularities with billers• Evaluate and recommends solutions for continuous improvement pertaining to level of AR responsibility• Prepare ad hoc financial reports to summarize AR metrics for management to use in the evaluation of accounts receivable performance
