Program Manager
for our client's
Cybersecurity Regulatory Affairs Team.
This role provides the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge regulatory practices at the intersection of cybersecurity and international regulatory frameworks. Working closely with attorneys, engineers, and business stakeholders, the candidate will help shape and implement novel regulatory solutions. This is a dynamic position that offers cross-company exposure and the chance to tackle both regulatory and security challenges on a global scale.
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
Minimum 2 years of experience complying with or evaluating compliance against internal cybersecurity policies or external information technology standardsMinimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in program management within a highly complex regulatory environment OR equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of experience implementing and improving secure software development frameworks across multiple product releases and methodologies
Opportunity Overview:
The Cybersecurity Regulatory Affairs Team is responsible for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and legislation. This Program Manager role will assist with a range of initiatives, including supply chain security projects and resilience acts, supporting attorneys in driving compliance efforts across the company. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to implement secure frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Regulatory and Program Support:Assist attorneys with the development and management of cybersecurity governance frameworks.Support implementation and monitoring of compliance processes across legal, engineering, and business stakeholders.Provide tools and program development support to streamline cybersecurity governance and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.Community Engagement:Collect innovative ideas from business teams to enhance compliance initiatives.Manage program communities, stakeholders, and rhythms of engagement to keep teams aligned with cybersecurity compliance objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders to design sustainable compliance processes and infrastructure.Technical and Administrative Support:Provide deep technical insights into data security and governance architectures.Manage internal websites and communications, tracking and analyzing site metrics to improve engagement.Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating internal and external meetings.Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent2+ years of professional experience in program management within a complex regulatory environment OR equivalent experienceStrong technical skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft web toolsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environmentExperience implementing secure software development frameworks across multiple product releasesAdditional or Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in computer/software engineering, cybersecurity policy, or a related fieldExperience working at Microsoft, either as an employee or long-term vendorExperience collaborating with attorneys within a legal environment, such as CELAProduct development experience with a focus on cybersecurity, privacy, or regulatory complianceAbility to translate complex technical information for non-technical audiencesPMI/PMP certification is a plus but not requiredWhy Work with Team Red Dog?
