Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid- 1x in-office per month) Compensation: $115.5k-$143k total comp Job Type: Full Time Benefits: Retirement, Healthcare, Paid Holiday, PTO, etc. Why You Should Apply: Industry leading organization with stable financials and steady growth High visibility role that will regularly interact with and collaborate with senior leadership Opportunity to help drive growth through providing key financial insights and helping develop strategies that positively impact the business Work with a team of industry professionals that look to help each other grow personally and professionally What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate has 7 years of accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred CPA preferred Leadership/Management experience required What You'll Be Doing: Lead monthly close process including financial reporting and statements Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements before they're distributed to leadership Support budgeting and forecasting processes with business leaders Assist with preparing variance analysis and explanations, as needed Identify and lead process improvement projects related to accounting policies/procedures and software implementations Respond to external auditor's requests for documentation as needed Ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
