OVERVIEW
iTech AG is seeking a robust ServiceNow CMDB design and implementation expert to perform ServiceNow CMDB assessment for federal customers. The ServiceNow CMDB Architect is considered a domain expert in ServiceNow CMDB design and implementation with CSDM hands-on experience. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform best practices and a high level of experience with IT Asset Management (HAM and SAM).
RESPONSIBILITIESManage ServiceNow Discovery/ETL jobs, application service models, define and monitor CI data health reports dashboardsBuild CMDB data integrations and automated orchestration workflowsWork with application and data owners toward data standardization and standard data modelMaintain and ensure adherence to CMDB technical design standardsCommunicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical team membersSupport other ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, and Asset Management to consistently align to CMDB process and data requirementsOwn the execution and continuous improvement of the IT Configuration framework including governance and control standards, processes, and proceduresOwn responsibility for client technical deliverables including client design documentsEnforce systems design and architectural standards, maintain best practices, and drive the core principles throughout the systems delivery lifecycleWork with customer managers, architects, subject matter experts, solution designers, and senior levels stakeholdersCollaborate with a larger group of business SMEs, solution, and technical architects to elevate technical direction for the delivery of high-performing, transformative solutionsMaintain ServiceNow certifications with the latest delta examsAchieve additional certifications as dictated by changing business needsEstablish self as a technical liaison working to drive comprehensive solutions across the entire portfolio of stakeholdersOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in Information Technology4+ years working with designing/developing technical solutions for ServiceNow CMDBProven expertise in ServiceNow implementations, acting as a Solution Architect3-5 years of related experience in developing ServiceNow, programming JavaScript, IT service management, or other related technologiesExperience with core ServiceNow applications and related modules, including REST APIs and integrationsExperience in Agile SCRUM methodology and deliveryPrior experience as a Web Developer and familiarity with scripting languages including JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSSKeen understanding of ITIL framework and industry best practices with ITIL v3 or v4 certificationAbility to work in a team environment, prioritizing deliverables in changing landscapeExpert knowledge of JavaScriptExcellent communication skills and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback, always remaining positive and focused on the goalAbility to decompose complex topics and experiences to explain them using whiteboards.Experience running workshops, building out strategic roadmaps, and being able to defend architectural and technical deliverablesExperience working with customers to understand requirements and implementing information technology solutions/initiatives/service automationExcellent oral and written communication skills to readily translate complex technical information to non-technical audiencesEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent combination of education.ServiceNow certifications - System Administrator - CSAPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
