The well qualified candidate must have a proven track record of improving quality measures and building strong teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the operation and management of Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Care, and Rehabilitation Ensures the planning, implementing, and evaluating of all areas of healthcare to maximize resident quality of care Develops, manages, and implements annual operating and capital budgets Leads and manages all aspects of the state and/or federal government survey process, manages complaint investigations Works directly with department and clinical managers to plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct programs and activities Ensures compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and standards Formulates, implements, and maintains written policies and procedures governing the operation of the Community Communicates and models a clear, client-driven vision, based upon a resident centered model of care and makes recommendations as needed Oversees the work of department directors to ensure full compliance with all program requirements. Works with the department directors to ensure appropriate fiscal and quality management is taking place Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration or related field required Master's degree in healthcare or business administration preferred Must have LNHA licensure and have held LNHA licensure for a minimum of 3 years in direct practice Experience:
Minimum 5 years' Administrator experience in a comparable LTC/SNF/Rehab community Minimum 5 years' experience leading and managing both clinical and non-clinical teams History of effective management and fiscal leadership
