Nursing Home Administrator Position - On the Southern California Coast!

We have an opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Administrator (NHA) in beautiful Southern California! The facility has an outstanding reputation and is absolutely gorgeous! It is a part of a luxury CCRC offering multiple levels of care. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years LNHA experience serving Seniors, and those requiring additional assistance. They will also have a history of good survey results, stable tenure, and have a passion to provide excellent care and customer service to the residents. The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Healthcare Center in accordance with applicable company, federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest quality care and customer service is provided to its residents at all times.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Plans, develops, organizes, evaluates and implements the Healthcare Center's programs and activities serving the residents. Manages subordinate supervisors, as well as additional employees and volunteers in the Healthcare Center. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal standards and regulations for employees, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies. Works collaboratively with the community's other department managers to ensure that the residents are receiving the best possible care at all times. Assists with the budget development and adherence, as well as accurate forecasting of expenses and cost control. Ensures that adequate financial records and reports are prepared and submitted to administration as required. Ensures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professional and auxiliary personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the residents. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation for the Health Center. Facilitates interviewing, hiring, and training employees; teaching, mentoring and directing work; performance appraisals, rewards and recognition, disciplining employees, and addressing complaints, and resolving conflict. Educational Requirements, Experience and Compensation Package :
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in health care/business administration or related field strongly preferred. Three (3) plus years experience in supervising a retirement community (CCRC or Life Plan Community), or a Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing (SNF), or Rehabilitation Facility. LNFA/LNHA - Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in CA or have the ability to obtain licensure.
